Green stuff!!

Ok so I recently joined the Scarborough & Whitby chapter of the Yorkshire/Humber part of the UK Green Party and I am officially part of the GREEN SURGE that has been sweeping the nation over the last few weeks.

This is all so exciting!!

I'm part of the fundraising team (which consists of myself and one other nice lady named Gaby). I have lots of plans that involve crowdfunding and video production, so I'll post more about that later when things aren't so in flux. We're in a stage of bouncing ideas off one another right now.

At any rate, the upcoming election is going to be pivotal for the Green Party - whether we win or not - and I URGE you who live in the UK to register to vote if you haven't (and vote Green, of course ;D).

You can register to vote [here] and should do so as soon as possible, because there is a limited window in which you can register, and the election is in May.

If you don't vote, for whatever reason, [here] is a video rxplaining what a wasted vote actually is by my local parliamentary candidate (and new friend!) David Malone, who is a super swell guy and is worth listening to.

If people stopped tactical voting, then the Green party would absolutely storm the election, as shown by this constituency map taken from VoteForPolicies.org.uk:
